Call for Papers
The conference theme Breaking Ground in the Nation's Capital reflects this annual conference’s continued tradition of providing a forum for recent research developments and advancements in geotechnical engineering and hydrogeology. A wide range of specialities will be represented, however members of the Canadian and international geocommunities are encouraged to submit abstracts for papers on the themes listed.
Abstracts of a maximum 400 words should be submitted in English or French through the conference web site online abstract submission by February 14, 2007. The online abstract submission feature will become available on December 1, 2006.
Invitations for submission of full papers will be sent by February 28, 2007 to authors whose abstracts are accepted by the conference’s Technical Committee. Final papers will be due by May 31, 2007. At least one author must register for the conference at the time of the paper submission. The submitted papers will be reviewed prior to final acceptance for inclusion in the conference proceedings.
Case studies and case histories are actively solicited. Papers featuring innovative analysis techniques and solutions, as well as research (recent and/or future trends), are strongly encouraged.
